If you prepare business trip, you choose a wheeled luggage first but if you go backpacking which one do you choose? Backpack is symbol of backpacking travel but these days many backpacking travelers prefer to taking wheeled luggage. It totally depends on your mind but there are some places which require backpacks than wheeled luggage.
Advantage & Disadvantage of Wheeled luggage, Backpack, Backpack with Wheel
Backpack - Backpack is not affected by places where there are a lot of stairs or rough ways. It is easy to move, especially if it is light, you can move faster. And your hands can be free. But if you walk long time, shoulder will have pain. And packing is not easy and uncomfortable when taking out something. Also if you have boxes or bottles, it will easily breaking.
Wheeled luggage - If your luggage is over 10kg and have a long term trip, it is hard work to carry backpack. wheeled luggage's best advantage is putting the luggage on the ground. You can keep your strength on other work. Also you can use it as a chair and if you open it easily check out what you need. However if there are rough roads or many stairs, it is not easy to move with it. And always keep an eyes on your it and if wheels have a trouble, you will have hard time through the travel.
Backpack with Wheel - It is combined with two design, but it has two design's disadvantages. First it is uncomfortable when putting on a back. Secondly wheels are not good so at the rough way it does not work well. So it can be good when you have a light burden, but it is not suitable for big one.
Different travel for backpack and wheeled luggage.
Backpack - If you take a long term trip and your travel places are warm or hot, clothing will not be heavy. So it is good way to prepare backpacking. (Men within 15kg/women within 10kg) Like a India(not all), if roads are not good, backpack is better than wheeled luggage. Many people imagine European countries have good road, but they preserve the old roads so if you want to move freely with your luggage, backpack is better.
Wheeled luggage - If you leave at winter, the clothing is bigger and heavier than summer season's. So it is hard to pack them in the backpack also hard to travel with them. So in this case, wheeled luggage is better than backpack. Also if the roads are good where you are going to travel, it is good choice to take a wheeled luggage. And if it is a short term travel and you stay one place, wheeled luggage will be better. You just put it home and go out.
